Members of Yob, Wiegedood, Oathbreaker and Amenra were touring and found themselves bonding over a shared love for both classic death metal as well as the recent, interesting breed. It’s in the realm of those latter bands that Living Gate can best be situated: no meticulously edited and polished sounds, but cranked guitar amps vomiting sick riff after riff over unrelenting, real drums.
